Bio

Born in 1976. Raised in a family where politics stood at the center and a sense that the world can be changed to the better prevailed. He grew up fascinated by the ever changing face of the earth and the complexitiy of humankind. Photography became a way to live history and explore people and their relations. Early on he focused on the popular movement in Sweden against the wars in Iraq and Youguslavia. 

With photography as a backdrop he studied writing and speech at the Universtity of Gothenburg. He progressed with Spanish in Zaragoza, Spain and Cienfuegos on Cuba. Returning to Sweden he entered the medical facualty in Gothenburg, Sahlgrenska University in 1999. During the medical studies he completed a project documenting the inside of the Thorax Surgery Department at Sahlgrenska hospital. The pictures got him elected for joining the biggest picture agencies in Scandinavia - Scanpix/Pressens Bild. The photos have been published in varoius publications, books and TV.

Before finally settling down at Styrsö Island in the Southern Archipelago outside Gothenburg as a resident General Practitioner and part time photographer, he was involved in various photo shoots. Portraits of writers and artists. Travel photography and writing - hiking the "Tour du Mont Blanc" was published in the outdoor magazine "Utemagasinet". Thailand - Koh Lipe published in one of the biggest swedish newspapers - Svenska Dagbladet.

He is now begining a long term project to document the life in the Southern Archipelago of Gothenburg.
